With so many events and festivals in the air, you may be in need of some guidance if you need to find your way to the next photography celebration. We have compiled a shortlist of some of the events you can take note of for future reference.

Photoville

Photoville has grown into one of the largest annual photography celebrations in the United States since its inception in 2011. It all started in Brooklyn, USA. Its exhibition features shipping containers. The exhibit presents a blend of established and emerging photography professionals.

Atlanta Celebrates Photography (ACP)

Atlanta Celebrates Photography is a month-long festival that started all the way back in 1998. The celebrations take place in existing dedicated art spaces, as well as featuring public installations. It hosts workshops, panel discussions, artist talks, and even walking tours through the exhibition. Several famous artists have shown work and/or spoken at Photoville, with the likes of Miranda Barnes, Laylah Matullah Barryn, Jamel Shabazz, and Mark Mann. You can even get the chance to talk to artists.

Filter Photo Festival

This is a nonprofit organization serving the photography communities of Chicago and surrounding regions since 2009. Filter Photo organizes a festival that serves as one of the premier photo gatherings in the USA. With an emphasis on the community, aspiring photographers can get feedback from professionals or the public.
